Sturmey-Archer TCW 3-Speed Coaster Brake hub
This old
Sturmey-Archer coaster brake hub
has been lightly used. Model TCW, standing for "Tri-Coaster Wide [Ratio]". An earlier version of this hub, with the more elegant brake arm. The bearings feel free and the pawls catch when tested by hand; the indicator chain moves as expected. Should be flushed and re-lubed before being put into service, though.

114mm OLD        (over locknut dimension, though this can be changed by rearranging washers)

There is an error in the title and the description of this listing. This is
not a Coaster Brake
hub. it is a regular three-speed freewheeling hub. Sorry for the confusion. If you buy this AW hub thinking it is a coaster brake design. let me know and I can supply a three-speed coaster brake hub instead at checkout time.
